Grow rooms can get bright – but regular sunglasses are not the answer. Lights used in horticulture use a very limited spectrum and some contain high levels of ultraviolet (UV) light. “Blurple” (blue + purple) and magenta growing lights provide the necessary diodes for photosynthesis, but can cause eye strain and obscure colour.
