BACTREX can be used to protect recently rooted cuttings or germinated seeds, against pathogens including pythium. It is a powerful and organic soil improver. Use one level teaspoon per litre water. One litre will treat 50 cuttings or seedlings.

This organic soil improver is suitable for soil or coco, indoor and outdoor growing, either container or in-ground planting.

BACTREX Bio Tabs is a dry, water-soluble powder with a large number of beneficial soil bacteria and root microbes (including 6 strains of Bacillus spp.), Trichoderma fungi and actinomycetes. These are especially selected for their desirable effect on soil structure and fertility. These specialised root bacteria are “contained” in soluble Yucca extract with organic catalysts, to guarantee a rapid colonisation and growth of the root zone.

In addition to the beneficial soil bacteria and soil microbes, BACTREX Bio Tabs also contains various effective strains of Trichoderma.

Trichoderma’s are a species of fungi that are harmful to certain other fungi, including fungi that cause diseases among some plants. For this reason, Trichoderma’s should always be used as a organic soil treatment or immediately after sowing or planting so that they can consume these harmful fungi before they cause disease. Bio Tabs BACTREX contains 8 different soil bacteria, Trichoderma genus mould and Humic acid and soil microbes.

Bio Tabs BACTREX is a living product, once dissolved in water, the solution needs to be applied within 6 hours. Do not overuse.
